Fish Oil

We manufacture steam sterilized fishmeal at our modern mechanized plant on the sea shore at Mukka 20 Kms from Mangalore. Freshly caught fish like Sardines. Mackerels, Tuna, and small Red Snappers are generally used as raw material. Fishmeal is processed in our plant under stringent quality control.

The oil and the water mixture separated goes into a centrifuge where fish oil is separated. The fish cake from the press goes into rotary hot air drier. The dried meal is than pulverized and cooled. The fine powder is than filled in HDPEhe Filtered Fish oil is packed in steel drums of 200 liters. Every stage is strictly monitored to maintain the quality. The quality of fish meal and Fish oil is tested at laboratories and batches are segregated according to their specifications.

Centrifuge Fish Oil

Our fish oil is produced during the process of manufacture of industrialized fishmeal by pressing and centrifugation of fresh fish such as Sardines and Mackerel which are the main kind of pelagic fish available in the Arabian Sea on the west coast of India . Basic fish oil is processed in order to purge impurities. The oil will pass through a decanter or a barrier to reduce solid and water content. Through this process a very stable result in terms of free greasy acid content with an extended life for preservation is achieved.

Fish Oil has an important application in the animal feed industry (mainly aquaculture and poultry), where it is known to enhance growth, feed conversion rate (FCR) and increased resistance to diseases. Fish oil one of the natural remedies for a number of health problems. It contains two of the most important omega 3 fatty acids that can be absorbed easily, EPA & DHA. These two fatty acids derived from fish oil are considered to the protective elements for the body as they help in solving heart related problems, better brain functions and several other health benefiting factors.
Sardine fish oil contains around 20% of EPA & DHA. Crude fish oil has undesirable substances present in varying amounts. These are removed by refining or processing to increase its usefulness as starting material for the manufacture of industrial products. Chemically modified fish oils can be used in making industrial products such as protective coatings, leather chemicals, printing inks, lubricants and greases etc.
